Hiya all.  I am back from the end of the other end of the earth (Mexico and Cuba), an overall very enjoyable trip for Jenny, Rici and I.  It is business as usual at Dental on Metro.   Some photos of our trip are loaded to our facebook page. 

Highlights were abundant including Mexico’s central Zocallo (town square), Peubla (Mexico’s culinary centre) and in Cuba, Havana’s Melicon (long seafront walk), the Panar del Rio country side by hire car, scuba diving in Cayo Levisa and snorkelling off of Playa Maria le Gorda.  Low lights were one lost passport and a rental car bogged in the middle of a tobacco farm in Cuba – at least a good way to meet the locals as it turned out.

A big congratulation to our principal Dental Nurse Amanda and her Partner on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Jackson last week.  We wish them all well at this special time.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS – KIDS CHECKUPS

School holidays are from Monday the 7th of July until Friday 18th of July.   Ring early to book your kids in for a gap-free check-up.

Gap Free Kids Check-ups

If you have any dental extras cover, kids check-ups are always provided gap-free.  Just bring your valid health insurance card for on-the-spot claiming with HICAPS.

Child Dental Benefits Schedule

We are very pleased at the big uptake by clients eligible for the new Medicare Child Dental Benefits Scheme.  We will continue to provide bulk billed services under this scheme to all eligible clients.   Your eligibility can be checked through Centrelink.

Additional after hour’s appointments

As we now have two fully fitted operatories running we have opened up additional sessions for our popular after work/school appointment slots (3:30 PM – 7:00 PM).

We are also offering a 10% discount off of the gap for all new patient referrals

Attendance at appointments

We thank our clients who provide at least 24 hours’ notice when they change or cancel a scheduled appointment.   Early notice is of great assistance to us and other clients who might like to take the space.  We remind our clients that it is a term of our engagement to provide at least 24 hour notice of changes or cancellation to appointments. Breaches result in a $100 non-attendance fee. 

A further term of our engagement is the requirement for appointments to be confirmed.  As a part of our service we endeavour to contact you, instead of requiring self-confirmation.   Please ensure your contact details with us are up-to-date and accurate.  New details may be submitted by downloading our electronic patient details from.   Please download our important appointment information for further information regarding our terms of engagement.
