Get your crowns done this calendar year!
Just a reminder folks: most dental extra’s cover revolves on the Calender year (i.e. January 1st to December 31st). For clients who need ‘major’ dentistry (crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers, root canal treatment)and want to use this years dental extras limit then now is a good time to book in. This way you will receive a new dental extra’s limit to claim with on 1 January 2014.
Remember many clients rush to get treatment done at the end of the insurance year for this reason.
So avoid the end of year rush. We all have enough things to stress out about at Christmas! Booking in September allows ample time for crowns, bridges and dentures to be fabricated in this calendar year with minimal wait times from laboratories.

Welcome Sahani!
Dental on Metro would like to give our warmest welcome Dr Sahani Gunathilake.
Sahani is a general and family Dentist. She will be working regular hours at Dental on Metro allowing us to increase our appointment availability for existing clients and dental emergencies.
Sahani completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Dentistry at the University of Adelaide in 2012. Sahani also has a background in Biomedical Science and treating patients who are medically or physically compromised.
Sahani has interests in Cultural Dance and has done volunteer work at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage in Sri Lanka. See the ‘our staff’ area of our website.
Dr Peter Bertossa is back on board since returning from his most recent travel. He has posted some pictures from his break in the Northwest on Dental on Metro’s Facebook page.
